These folks are great: efficient, skillful, experienced and fairly priced. They pulled three 80+ foot pines with their enormous crane reaching overtop our roof. David was an artist with that crane. And James used the chainsaw like a scalpel.

We would like to say how happy we were doing business with Marquis Tree Service.
We have arborvitae which were overgrown along two lot lines. Getting quotes for the job was not as easy as we had thought it would be. Two of the companies scheduled appointments and the did not even show up.
The representative from Marquis who came to assess the job was prompt, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He also returned a second time to address concerns we had because some of the trees had to be accessed from a neighbors yard.
As with the representative, the crew of three were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They did a wonderful job trimming and shaping to make the trees attractive again and were very thorough with the cleanup.

Excellent, professional service. From the initial consultation and guidance to the day of removal. The crew were polite, organized and highly efficient. The equipment including a large crane, was in excellent working order. They removed 17 large trees in about 8 hrs, leaving 2 tidy log piles and not a single woodchip or damage to anything. Highly recommended - superb!

Extremely professional. 2d time using this company and I’ve used many tree companies over the years. No comparison. Great guys who are attentive to my requests and always wear a smile. The supervisor on my job was David. Great guy. And the owner, John, always comes through even if the need is timely, like the time a 200 foot pine fell across our driveway in the middle of the night. He arrived at 9 am to remove it. And he was totally fair on the price even though he had us over a barrel.

Marquis Tree Service trimmed a couple of big trees on my small property They did a GREAT job. I am very happy with the work of the Marquis team of 3 professionals, including 1 woman (girl-power in action). They did exactly what I wanted done. The whole experience with Marquis was good from beginning to end. Their quoted price was very satisfactory to me; a good value compared with other local arborists. I will be recommending Marquis to friends; as they were recommended to me by a neighbor.

I've used their services particularly for care of larger, more mature trees, for pruning, trimming off deadwood, and if trees were dying, complete removal. The crews are total professionals who take their craft seriously. John has come to my house, sometimes at no charge, to assist and advise on special situations that could impact the health of my trees. This company has always been very honest and not pushed for more work than what is needed. I would recommend them highly.

Excellent service. The crew were very professional. They started early in the morning and worked all day to finish the job. They also cleaned the area very well after cutting the trees. We didn’t need to do anything to clean up and can start enjoying a much better yard right after. All of these with a very reasonable price. Will use it again in the future. Highly recommend it!

I have owned my home for almost 40 years and love all my trees. I had 3 companies come to do estimates for pruning of my towering black oaks. Marquis was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and considerate of my feelings regarding my trees. Peter came to price and after reviewing the situation of my 3 large trees, went back to the office and my estimate came quickly and most important to me it included the insurance the company had to cover all and any work done on my property by Marquis employees. I was in the hospital the day the crew came but my husband told me how impressed he was with their workmanship. I got home a few days later and I believe they left my yard in better condition than before they pruned. I was so happy I referred them to my new neighbor across the street. She also used them to take down many large trees. Same experience for her. Job done efficiently, courteously and with all consideration for customer and trees. I decided to have additional pruning done and my crew was called back for another job well done.
